I first met Julie at just 12 years old when I appeared on TeenStar UK, an online singing competition, in 2020 and she was one of the judges. After reaching the final, I contacted Julie and I was thrilled when she agreed to take me on for vocal coaching. I’ve worked with her ever since, initially through online Zoom lessons, which are fantastic, but I especially love getting the chance to travel to her incredible studio in Northumberland to work with her in person.
Julie has helped me step out of my comfort zone and push myself vocally. My confidence in performing has grown massively, and I love how she helps me make every song unique and truly my own. Her coaching has been a huge part of helping me reach my best vocal ability and develop as an artist.
Julie’s support and expertise have also been invaluable in competitions. Without her, I honestly don’t think I would’ve reached the final of the Ireland Junior Eurovision in 2022 or The Voice Kids UK in 2023. She’s also been amazing in preparing me for major international events, including performing at the Nordic Business Forum in Finland and the Oslo Business Forum in Norway in 2024, where Brene Brown was keynote speaker and I sang for audiences of over 10,000 people.
Those experiences and opportunities have been unforgettable, and I couldn’t have done it without Julie. I know with her support and guidance there will be many more!
