I first became aware of Julie and Vocal Ovation after coming runner up in TeenStar UK 2020 and contacted Julie soon after to see if she could help me increase my range and improve my tone.
I only started online Zoom lessons with Julie around 6 months ago and during that short time my range has increased dramatically and so has my confidence. Belief in myself as a singer/song writer has also come on in leaps and bounds…….all thanks to Julie. I have worked with other vocal coaches but found none as effective.
Since working with Julie, I have made it to the Grand Final of OpenMic UK and have auditioned for ‘The Voice’. This is not something I would have normally considered and the song I auditioned with was out of my comfort zone however Julie believed in me, put me forward and gave me lots of encouragement.
Working with Julie has also had a positive effect on my YouTube videos, I feel they have been the best I have ever done vocally.
Julie has such an effective but enjoyable approach to Vocal Coaching; lessons are always so light-hearted and fun making you feel at ease from the word go.
I feel like I have known Julie for years and have never felt nervous during lessons, an issue I’ve experienced with other vocal coaches in the past. I wish I’d found her a lot sooner!
