I first met Julie whilst I was performing in the International online TeenStar Competition in 2020 as she was one of the judges. She chose me as her favourite act in the first round and then championed me throughout the whole competition.
I’m quite shy and not a confident person so I couldn’t believe how much she believed in me. That belief and encouragement has been my biggest inspiration. From that moment I immediately felt a bond with Julie.
Until I met Julie I had never worked with a vocal coach in my life before. I learned how to sing from social media videos and for years I was developing my voice alone in my room plus also learning to play the guitar. Being from another country made that more difficult because I also needed to learn how to sing and speak in English from the beginning.
I feel that Julie came into my life at exactly the right time, she was meant to be the part of my journey and I feel so honored to have her as my vocal coach.
Although I’ve been working with Julie only for a short period of time, my voice has already changed, even my energy and presence has changed. Her ability to hear all the tiny little details in my voice and always give me the right directions have helped me trust my voice more and become more self confident.
I believe that Julie has given me a turning point in my life right when I needed it the most. Her approach and all the experience she has helps me focus on details I want to include into my voice and as an original artist. Her techniques are absolutely brilliant. Julie is insanely talented in recognizing and developing talent!
I know that with hard work and Julie’s directions my future is bright!
