Since 2013, when I won a session at Vocal Ovation through Open Mic UK, I immediately clicked with Julie from the first hour of working with her and I’m so glad I’ve stuck around and I’m so proud to call her my vocal coach.
Working with Julie is like having one of your friends’ mentor you, as she treats every student like a friend, and that’s just one of the many ways Julie helps you as a vocal coach. As soon as you step into her amazing studio, you feel the warmth and love Julie has to give, and you can almost just leave your worries at the door because Julie will always be there to help with any doubts or problems.
Through working with Julie, I’ve made some lifelong friends, and had some life changing opportunities, from playing at the O2 Arena in London, to reaching the Quarterfinals of The Voice UK 2020, all with Julie right by my side, making sure every performance was magical.
If it wasn’t for working with Julie, I would never have had the confidence to step up on those huge stages, or even dream of getting a Blind Audition on The Voice UK, but Julie has not only strengthened my voice, but also my confidence and self-belief; she always would push me to do better, constantly reminding me that I could do it.
No matter what kind of artist you are, or what genre you sing, Julie can help you shine and develop into a star. After all, there’s a reason why we call her Magic Miles!
