Julie has a solid reputation for getting results. She’s worked with successful contestants on a vast range of top TV talent shows, including The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, America’s Got Talent, American Idol, The Voice, The Voice Kids, Junior Eurovision and Got What It Takes.
Julie also appeared as one of the 100 in Saturday night BBC One primetime TV show, All Together Now, as well as Little Mix’s BBC talent programme, The Search in which she worked alongside television producers as both a talent scout and vocal coach.
Frequently invited by major TV producers to host exclusive showcases, Julie’s students have gone on to secure high-profile industry opportunities, with over 20 singers appearing on international television talent shows and more than 100 million views of their performances online.
Successful students include Courtney Hadwin, who received the ‘golden buzzer’ from judge Howie Mandel on America’s Got Talent in 2018. As the first UK singer to receive the accolade, her distinct performance gained hundreds of millions of views online and she was immediately sign by Simon Cowell and Syco Music. Courtney continued to work with Julie up to releasing her hotly anticipated debut album "Little Miss Jagged" in 2025.
Other Cowell protégé’s coming from Julie’s stable include Molly Scott, who appeared on the X Factor in 2018 and reached the live shows. Likewise for student Sam Lavery who journeyed through the same stages in 2016.
Julie is a key part of the educational team for international teaching organisation, Modern Vocal Training, hosting masterclasses for up-and-coming students from across the globe. Her passion and commitment to being qualified does not go unnoticed and is shown in the achievements of each of her students.
A stickler for sound vocal technique, she also has a keen eye for recognising talent and is geared towards working with singers to help them reach their highest potential and achieve all the key aspects that will help them develop into successful artists.
